Little Kittens Recognize Human Mom’s Voice

Most living beings have a way of communicating vocally. Humans talk.
Birds chirp. Frogs ribbit. Horses nay. Lions roar. Domestic cats meow. The sounds that animals make can mean many things. When a wolf howls, he can be letting the rest of his pack know where he is or that there is prey nearby. When a lion roars, he can be marking his territory or looking for his pride members. How about when a cat meows? It looks like these little kittens are just saying “hello!”
When mama kitty is awakened by her human friend, she initially looks happy, until the woman starts calling for the kittens. Mama cat seems to say, “You called them, you handle them!” They recognize the voice of their foster mom and are ready to play. Her communication is crystal clear! The babies climb the woman like she’s Mount Everest – cuteness overload!
