For some reason, pigs are pretty much our go-to animal when we fancy to make some nasty comparison. What many don’t know is that what seems to be the general opinion about those animals is built on serious misconceptions. For example, pigs are incredibly clean and the reason why they like to roll around in mud is just because it’s a great way to keep cool. Pigs also don’t have functional sweat glands – which, by the way, proves the saying “sweat like a pig” to be completely false. They are also very smart and emotional beings. Pigs are amazing animals who seem to only wait for us to realize their true worth.
