Scientists have renewed calls for a revamp of fishing methods after two humpbacks whales were tangled in ropes off the U.S. East Coast. One of the whales became a dining cart for a 15-foot shark who took a chunk out of the tangled mammal. However, scientists and rescuers were able to move in and cut the rope to free the whale before the shark could take anymore bites.
