Pit Bulls are often portrayed as aggressive, vicious dogs.
After all, given their large stature and association with dog fighting rings, there’s no way someone would think they’re capable of being sweet and loving pets … right?

Like any other dog, Pit Bulls are capable of being amazing pets when they are given the love and attention they deserve. Unfortunately, all too many people abuse and neglect Pit Bulls for the sake of profit in fighting rings, but it is far past time that we looked past this small section of cruel, irresponsible dog guardians and recognize that these animals don’t deserve the negative stereotypes they receive.
