As animal lovers, it can be near impossible to just walk away when you see an injured
animal in need of help. Regardless of how extreme the situation may be, we are always willing to roll up our sleeves and do everything in our power to ensure the animal gets the aid that it needs.
The woman in this video is a shining example of what it means to be a true animal lover. She came across a cracked bird’s egg on the ground and was shocked to find a little baby struggling to emerge. Knowing she couldn’t leave the new little life behind, she took the bird in and contacted a professional wildlife rehabilitator for instructions on what to do. Although the professionals warned her the baby, who she named Klinger, wouldn’t last the night, she never gave up home.
A year later, the Klinger is a healthy and thriving Starling. Unfortunately, because Klinger was hand reared, he can never return to the wild but he now has a forever home with his rescuer.
