We first met Dudley the calf last year when he was rescued by the Gentle Barn,
after he was discovered with a severe leg injury. Unfortunately, the situation was so bad that the veterinary team at the University of Tennessee had no other choice but to amputate. Since then, the dedicated staff at the Gentle Barn has worked tirelessly to ensure that Dudley has had everything that he needs to make his life more comfortable, including an awesome new prosthetic leg!
Now, with his mobility restored, sweet Dudley has become unstoppable, romping in the fields with his ball and enjoying all of the good things that life has to offer, including a beautiful girlfriend named Destiny. Together, these two beautiful bovines are showing everyone what friendship is all about. Where you see one, the other is sure to be nearby as Dudley and Destiny are now officially inseparable – showing the world that cows need love, too!
