Orphaned Fawn Chooses Dog as Foster Mom

You might not think that a medium-sized black and white dog could not be easily
mistaken for a deer, but in the eyes of a little impressionable fawn, it might not be so clear. Mishka, the dog, works with wildlife services to help scare bears who have gotten to comfortable living around humans back into the woods. While the bulk of her job requires Mishka to be tough, she still has an incredible soft side.
One day while out on the job, her human team picked up a little orphaned fawn. Clearly in need of a caring guardian, the fawn looked to Mishka as if to ask “are you my mother?” and like that Mishka became the small fawn’s foster mom. The fawn is probably a little scared and confused riding in the wildlife service’s van, but Mishka is there to comfort the baby deer. Watching the fawn chase after Mishka is sure to melt your heart!
